Dr. Jim Cox

Dr. Cox is an eastern Iowa native, originally from Cedar Falls. He attended the University of Iowa where he obtained a bachelor’s degree before continuing on to the College of Dentistry. He completed his formal dental training at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2000. After practicing dentistry for one year in Austin, Texas, he returned home to Iowa. Dr. Cox joined Westdale Dental in 2001.

His special interests in dentistry include restoring dental implants and pediatric dentistry. He strives to learn about each of his patients and provide individualized care.

Dr. Cox is married with two children. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
